To anyone who sees this. Uncle J was my father Odell Robinson's best friend in this life. In my teenage years from 15 to 18 I lived with James Froneberger. I stayed in touch with him regularly for 40 years. He was my Uncle and I loved him dearly. He was not a perfect man, but who among us are perfect? We all fall short of the Glory and Uncle J would be the first to tell you the same!
Uncle J ALWAYS had my best interest. He would school me on the bible. He taught me about Malcolm X just by having his autobiography around to read. And yes, if I needed something to read he always had something good around. He would crack me up with that crazy laugh of his.
A year ago this time I had a call from him. I couldn't take the call and I meant to call him back. couple days later I tried calling and couldn't get through. I tried and tried over the weeks and months and I started thinking that maybe Uncle J went Home. I don't feel bad I missed that call. I talked to him regular and we always ended our calls with "I love you."
Thank you Uncle J for everything. I am glad your time here is done because you suffer no more. I love you and celebrate you Uncle J!
