Ethan Knight was born January 28, 1956 to Nathan Knight and Gloria Hodge Knight in Staten Island, NY. He was a resident of Staten Island, Miers Corner better known as Dog Patch.  He attended P.S. 30, Markham High School and Susan E. Wagner High School. In his early years, he loved sports and music and being around his family and friends and he loved to talk. Ethan was married for a brief period of time but divorced with no children.  He was a parishioner at St. Paul's Memorial Episcopal Church in Stapleton. Ethan worked at Seaview hospital and home for several years as a Dietary Aide. 

Ethan also worked at other cooking businesses on Staten Island. His passion for cooking came from his father who was a cook. He was preceded in death by his parents, Nathan and Gloria Knight. A brother, Ira Knight. He is survived by a brother, Anthony Knight and nephew Anthony Jr. He leaves to cherish his fond memories, Wayne, Yvonne, Aubrey, Naomi, and  Edwin Saunders and a host of nieces and nephews and a special friend Sheila White.
