      William ‘ Bill’ Jones Died peacefully at home on March 17,2026 In Staten Island,Ny at age of 87 years Old.

     William was born August 25,1938 in Staten Island, NY to Willie B Jones and Edith A. Morris -Jones.He attended McKee High School William serve in the army reserve for 2 years.William was a life long Staten islander He married his high school sweetheart Lois in July 1959

     From that union one daughter was born Edith Marie Jones.In laters years he met his companion Paula Hughes  of 48 years they where together until his death.

     William children remember him as kind and sweet person. William enjoy Football  baseball and boxing. He was die hard Mets fan .William enjoyed volunteering as tenant patrol of 185 park hill ave until his health decline .

     William preceded in death  his father Willie ,his mother Edith And brothers Thomas and Carl.He is survived by daughter Edith(AL) of Virginia , god daughter Paulette( Robert) Baychester Ny,Brother Paul of North Carolina and companion Paula of Staten Island Ny. 1 grandson Devante of Baychester ny and 1 great granddaughter Jaylynn of Baychester Ny and host of nieces and nephews.
