William E. Dixon, Jr. was born October 3rd, 1959, on Staten Island to the late William E. Dixon and Shirley Ann (Stewart) Dion.
A Life- Long Staten Islander, Billy, as friends and family knew him, grew up in New Brighton. He attended P.S.31, I.S 61 and Curtis High School. Billy was a member of the Curtis High School Football Team (Defense) before graduating in 1977. He also attended the Collee of Staten Island for two years before entering the workforce at the U.S. Post Office (Manhattan) where he worked for 25+ years before retiring.
Billy was a hardcore sports fan. In his youth, he played football, baseball, basketball and stickball (playground of I.S 40). He also played for a few different leagues on Staten Island, South Shore Little League, Stapleton AC, and a few touch tackle teams. He was also a member of the North Shore Sea Cadet’s and a Boy Scout. Billy was a “Die-Hard “Las Vegas Raiders Fan!
Billy was an artis with impeccable skills like his father but, unlike his father, Billy found a few walls around the neighborhood to practice on which got him into a little trouble (LOL!).
Left to cherish his memory, his daughter TroiTenaya Dixon (Connecticut), brothers Danny Dixon and Michael Dixon (Staten Island), sister Anise Dixon (Brooklyn) one sister-in-law Mary Ann Dixon (Staten Island), one niece Alexandria Dixon (Staten Island) and a host of family and friends.
