Victoria Ann Popp, passed away on October 4th, 2024 at the young age of 46, in the Far Rockaway section of Queens, New York.

Born and raised in Bay Ridge Brooklyn, to parents Ann Marie Flemming and Bill Popp, she later resided on Staten Island. Victoria was a graduate of St. John Villa Academy on Staten Island and The Institute of Culinary Education.

Victoria enjoyed her work as a Career Coach/Consultant. She took great pride in helping others in their growth as they worked to achieve their professional goals; and she received several recognition awards as a result of hard work and dedication. Vicki also worked on several political campaigns throughout her life and had a keen political mind.

Vicki had a tremendous passion and creativity for cooking and baking, making jewelry and whipping up a good batch of soaps; and she was planning many more creations to come for her small business. And, let’s not forget her stand-up comedian jokes… the girl had jokes.

With a tremendously sharp wit, and a tongue to match, Vicki engaged equally in fierce political debates as well as raunchy, NSFW, conversations with almost everyone who knows her.

An engaged sports fanatic, Vicki played on various sports teams as a child and enjoyed rooting for NY Teams as well as Notre Dame (was it the green or the Irish - or, perhaps both?)

Vicki had an extremely strong and forceful personality, much like her mother, Ann Marie, whom she adored and missed deeply. In spite of many challenges, Vicki faced them all head on with an optimistic and unwavering zeal. She was always eagerly looking forward. And, even during difficult times, she did her best to hide her pain from those around her, in order to protect them.

Victoria leaves behind her aunt Ellen (John) Hashagen, her spouse Bob Donnelly and her brother Bill Popp Jr. She is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews, along with every one of her many close friends, including, but certainly not limited to, Amanda, Paul, Karen, Angela, Katrina, Liz, Ellen, just to name a small few, all of whom she deeply cherished as nothing less than family; as well as possibly way too many stray cats that she provided shelter to over the years.Vicki was also the godchild of the great jazz pianist, Ellis Larkins, who made several recordings with Ella Fitzgerlad and many other jazz legends.

Victoria was predeceased by her mother, and favorite lady, Ann Marie Flemming (2000) and her father Bill Popp (1995).
