His family and friends will remember him not only for his good looks and presence, but also for his generous heart, passion for education, and unwavering commitment to uplifting others.
He is survived by his sister Loretta and brother-in-law, his uncle Andre, several half-siblings, many children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, as well as nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends. The family offers this prayer for him:
"Allah, forgive him, have mercy on him, admit him into Paradise, and protect him from the punishment of the grave and of the Fire. Inna Lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji’un — Indeed, we belong to Allah, and indeed, to Him we will return."
