Tonya Susan Collier was born in December 26, 1956 to the late Thomas R. Collier and E. Dorothy James in Brooklyn, NY.

Tonya attended school in the NYC School System at an early age. Tonya Received Christ as her lord and savior at the institutional Church of God in Christ. She sang on the choirs which went on to sing at many different places, like Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center and the Brooklyn Academy of Music. Tonya also wrote a spiritual and inspirational book. She loved her children and grandchildren.

Whatever you needed her to do, she did it. She touched the lives of so many and she had a heart of gold. She will truly be missed.

Tonya was preceded in death by her son, Tyrone T. Collier, sisters; Denise Ford and Antoinette Ford and Shanita Collier. Great grandchildren Natalia Sinclair.

Tonya S. Collier will live on through her children, 6 Daughters and 3 sons.

Tashema Jones, Taireeka Jones, Chikenya Collier, Andrew Collier, Donnell Collier, Tashawna Graham, Donovan Collier, Lashaya Collier and Aaliyah Collier. Two God daughters Shareese Stafford, Shawantell Tucker, 33 Grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren, 3 sisters Darnell Collier, Sebrina Sherman Collier and Adrian James, 6 brothers; Thomas Brown, Tim Collier, Troy Collier, Terrance Collier, Tortorrien Collier, Todd Williams and a host of nieces and nephews as well.
