Tierra Errin Eddy was born on March 1st, 1991 at Staten Island University Hospital. Tierra was very bright, energetic, and loved animals and anything pink she considered hers. Tierra was truly loved and adored by her friends and family and she was always the life of the party. She had a Beyonce spirit and was the ultimate “Single Lady”.
She attended New Dorp High School where she was a cheerleader and graduated in 2009 with many honors. After high school Tierra attended St. Peters University, a private Jesuit University in Jersey City, New Jersey where she received her associate degree. Tierra’s next journey was joining the US Navy where she served as a HN Private First Class for 5 years. After being honorably discharged Tierra became a student at Berkeley College where she received her bachelor’s degree in business management in 2019. She was a Phlebotomist at Staten Island University Hospital.
She was the mother of the late Zahra Noelle Eddy, granddaughter of the late Henry S. Vaught and Aaron R. Eddy, and niece of the late Chanel Eddy. Tierra is survived by her mother Leslie Connor, father Aaron R. Eddy II, sister Chanel Eddy and stepfather, mother’s companion Shawn Horton. Grandmothers Betty Logan and Harrietta Eddy. Aunts Veronica Logan, Latisha Avery, Shawn Eddy-Daniels and her husband Antonio Daniels. Uncles Maurice Connor, Gabrielle Eddy and his wife Carol Eddy, Bryant Eddy and his wife Theresa Eddy. She is also survived by a loving Godmother Dorothy Thompson of Charlotte, North Carolina, one Great Uncle, seven Great Aunts and a host of cousins, friends, and her puppy companion Xena.
