Thelmo Stradford Jr., beloved son of Thelmo Stradford Sr. and Emma Bell Stradford was born on January 25, 1954, at Summit Hospital in Summit, New Jersey. He was reared in a home nurtured with the love of Jesus, attending Glad Tiding Pentecostal Church of Vauxhall, New Jersey. Junior, as he was affectionately referred to by his family and Sergio by friends, transitioned this life to be with the Lord on November 24, 2024, at the age of 70.

Thelmo attended Union Public Schools, in Union, New Jersey, graduating from Union High School in 1972. His passion for learning led him to further his education at the Lyons Institute in Newark, NJ, earning a certificate as an X-Ray Technician.

Throughout his professional life, Thelmo's hard work and commitment left a lasting impression. He worked for over IO years at Buy Wise Auto Parts and later served as a Service Advisor at Multi Chevrolet and Jersey City Hyundai, where he remained until his well-earned retirement. In his leisure, Thelmo enjoyed spinning vinyl records as a DJ, a skill that brought joy to many. His passion for cars extended beyond his profession, as he found great pleasure in working on vehicles during his free time. He was also fond of riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle and occasionally drag racing.

Thelmo was a proud member of the Fraternal Order of Masons. His Masonic affiliation included: Past Master of Golden Rule Lodge No. 24, F & AM, PHA; Vauxhall, NJ, Companion of Rising Sun Chapter No. 7, HRAM, 33'' Degree Frater of Douglas Consistory No. 10, and Past Potentate of Golconda Temple No. 24, AEAONMS, PHA.

Thelmo leaves to cherish his memory: his sister Minnimah Bilal-Shakir(Kareem). His children Shaneta Charles, Fred Stradford (Lizette), and Thelmo T. Stradford III(Shanelle).  His stepsons Mark Williams(Gloria) and David Williams (Baneesha). His bonus son Markese Baldwin. His grandchildren Dominique, Christina, Stephon, Lorenzo, Lynette, Solae, Toure, Joel, Emmanuel, Layla, Makayla, Dorian, and Amari. As
well as a host of other relatives and friends.

Rest in peace, Thelmo; your love, laughter, and music will forever echo in our hearts. You will be deeply missed but fondly remembered.
