Tanisha Jani Stovall was born on June 2, 1983, in Tampa, Florida, to her loving parents, Julia Bellinger and the late Lawrence Stovall Sr. From the moment she entered the world, Tanisha carried a strength and warmth that touched everyone around her.
On March 28, 2025, Tanisha passed away at Staten Island University Hospital after facing serious medical challenges with quiet strength and unwavering grace. She remained true to herself—resilient, joyful, and deeply loving—throughout every chapter of her journey.
Tanisha was a devoted fiancé, a proud and loving mother to five children, several stepchildren, and two bonus daughters, and a cherished grandmother to two grandsons. She is also survived by her mother Julia, one brother, two sisters, several nieces and nephews, and a host of extended family members and friends who loved her deeply. Her greatest joy in life was her family, and her love for them was evident in everything she did.
A dedicated nurse, Tanisha spent much of her career doing what she loved most—caring for others. She was hardworking, compassionate, and deeply committed to making a difference in the lives of those she served.
Tanisha will be remembered for her generous heart, her intelligence, creativity, and unwavering spirit. She was selfless and down-to-earth, always willing to help others without hesitation. Her presence brought comfort, laughter, and light to all who knew her.
