Steven Richardson, age 74, died of a massive heart attack on December 8th, 2024 in Richmond University medical center.
Steven Richardson was born on September 10, 1950 in Brooklyn, NY to Ann Richardson and Martin Haynes. He graduated from Fort Hamilton high school in Brooklyn, NY in 1968. He went on to work as a bookkeeper for plastic jewel company in Manhattan for more than 20 years. He moved to Staten Island in the 1980s.
Steven was a family man, tough yet loving who was deeply involved in the community. Many affectionately called him the mayor, he believed that it took a village to raise children and that it was all our responsibility to keep the youth on the right track.
Steven is survived by his wife Wanda Richardson, his children Shawn, Duane, Travis and Kenneth Richardson. His grand children Shawntice, Kia, Zariah, Eisani, Kaden, Karmelo, Sophia, Khloe and Layla. his great grandchildren; Zane, Yara, Autumn and Aura. He also leaves behind, His last remaining aunt, Margie Garvin many cousins and friends.
