Salvatore Caccamo

Salvatore Caccamo , age 82, passed away on December 21st, 2024 in Staten Island, NY.  Salvatore was born on November 5th, 1942, in Palazzolo, Sicily, to Antonino and Giuseppina.

Salvatore had a great love of soccer and also enjoyed attending boat races and car shows with his youngest son. Salvatore was a great family man and a loving father, working hard his entire life to ensure a better life for his children. He was always encouraging, and instilled the belief that if you want to achieve something, you can accomplish it so long as you never give up.

He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Laura Caccamo, his 3 three sons, Anthony, John Paul, and Joseph, and his loving granddaughter Alexa with whom he shared a special bond. 

A mass celebrating his life is scheduled for Friday, December 27th, at 10:45 in St.Teresa Church located at 1634 Victory Blvd, Staten Island, NY 10314. With reception to follow at Blue Restaurant, 1115 Richmond terrace, staten Island, NY.
