Rylando Eugene Bullock, died December 1st, 2021, at St. Luke’s Hospital in Pennsylvania. He was 64.
Rylando was born on March 3, 1957 in Staten Island, New York to his parents Bernie Eugene and Melba Delores Bullock. He attended Susan E. Wagner High School and went on to serve in the U.S. Military Army Division. He had numerous careers but ultimately settled in Law Enforcement as a Correctional Officer for many years.
He visited the Poconos frequently and eventually decided to make it his permanent place of residency. So he built a lovely home, not only for himself, but for his six beautiful children whom he loved, cherished and adored along with his 19 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren he shares with Barbara Johnson Bullock.
All were welcomed at his home. He loved to socialize. He also enjoyed traveling. But most of all Rylando loved music. He joined an entertainment organization that promotes Old School concerts and events called “The Sessmons Group” which became like his 2nd family. And everybody knows he was Earth, Wind and Fire’s number one fan! Rye, as he was affectionately called, attended countless numbers of EWF concerts over the span of four decades. Rylando was a sharp dresser from his hat on down to his shoes. He had strong spiritual beliefs, and really tried to live his life for God and raise his children Tomeka, Rylando Jr., Niketra, Crisaundra,Elijah and Joshua in Jesus Christ. All of whom he is survived by along with his mother, Sister Darlene Johnson. And to be reunited with his older sister Melanie Gonzalez and father Bernie who have gone on to be with the Lord.
