“So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed” – John 8:36
At 56, Robert Ross, lovingly referred to by Londel (middle name), died on November 28, 2024. He was a native New Yorker who lived in the Mariners Harbor section of Staten Island.
Londel made a lasting impression on everyone who knew him by living life to the fullest. He embraced the world with unwavering enthusiasm and was constantly looking for adventure. His colorful personality was only matched by his colorful clothing.
Londel attended Port Richmond High School and later graduated from Apex Technical School, pursuing his passion for automotive. His kindness always led him to lend a helping hand to family and friends in need. Whether it be flooring installation or detailing cars, his passion and enthusiasm were evident in the pride and detail he put into his work, always smiling. Later in life, he became an entrepreneur, starting “It’s A Family Thang Flooring LLC.”, where that pride and enthusiasm were showcased.
Londel is survived by his wife, Donna; children, Justin, Shanece, and Tahj; Robert Lee Ross; his parents, Donald Josey Sr. and Carol Josey; and siblings Anthony Ross (wife Christina), DeAnna Josey, Donald Josey Jr. (wife Leighann), and Dennis Josey. In addition, there are cherished stepchildren, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and close friends.
A life well-lived, filled with love, laughter, and joy. Even after his passing, Londel will remain in our hearts.
