Millie Ann Fountain was born on July 11, 1934 in the City of Bartow, in Polk County Florida. Her mother was Annie Johnson Fountain. Her father was Hezekiah Fountain.
She was the seventh of fourteen living children, five boys and nine girls.
Millie Ann (Punch) became a licensed practical nurse (LPN) in the 1960's meeting Airforce Serviceman James Edward Anderson during her training. They were married, April 3, 1960.
After giving birth to her firstborn son, Daryl, on October 2, 1961, the family relocated to the Bronx, New York. Following were the births of Stephanie, Kevin and James Jr., they made a relocation to White Plains, New York.
Millie had a love of life, traveling with her friends, family, and church extensively.
Always religious, Millie became a devout Christian with a strong commitment to faith.
Once she retired (she was an avid workaholic), she relocated to Texas to live with her son Kevin. Deciding she disliked living in Texas, she then relocated to Tampa to be surrounded by a host of family. As her heath began to fail, Millie again relocated to New York, Staten Island to be specific, to be closer to her children.
Tragically, Millie was predeceased by her son James Jr. (1995) and Husband James Sr. (1996).
She leaves behind her, children: Daryl, Stephanie (husband Charles), Kevin, grandchildren: Kiana (husband Amir), Anthony, Samara and Chloe. Brothers: Robert Fountain, Donald Fountain and Nathaniel Fountain; Sisters: Flossie Ellis, Sandra Williams, Barbara Jean Bryant and Berma Williams.
