On the evening of January 14, 2025, Mrs. Mary Ann Felder peacefully transitioned at Clove Lake Rehabilitation Center on Staten Island, NY. She was 81-years young and true matriarch whose life was defined by love, faith, and family.
Mary Ann was born on May 1, 1943, in Gastonia, NC to Mary Elizabeth Wilson and Mr. Jamison she moved to Staten Island in 1962, where she later met and married her beloved husband, Johnny Felder Jr.
Mary Ann dedicated much of her professional life to helping others. She worked at Willow brook Mental Health Institution until its closure in 1987, and then a night manager at Toys “R” Us in New Jersey, where she worked until her retirement.
Faith played a big role in Mary Ann’s life. She was devoted member of the All-Saints Church, where she participated in the adult choir, and later joined Tabernacle of Prayer, where she served on the Mother Board. She found great joy in reading her Bible, organizing prayer meetings, and listening to gospel music by Shirley Caesar, Mighty Clouds of Joy, and Dottie Peoples, as well as the soulful melodies of Patti Labelle. Mary Ann also cherished decorating her home, especially for Christmas, she loved the excitement of Christmas shopping that was her absolute favorite thing.  She collected Micky Mouse memorabilia, which she loved… Her dislike for Minnie Mouse was noticed.
She was proceeded in death by her parents Mr. Jamison and Ms. Wilson, her husband Johnny Felder Jr. and her beloved son Alistair Jamison.
