We announce the death of Mary Frances Edwards, who was laid to rest on May 12, 2024. She was 86 years old. Mary was born in Anderson, South Carolina on June 9, 1937. She was the youngest of six children.

She lived in Brooklyn, New York most of her life. Mary attended Maxwell High School in

Brooklyn, New York. She was employed as a factory worker and later as a home attendant, she loved her jobs and taking care of people.

She was a God-fearing woman who always tried to bring souls to Christ. The way to describe her was Love, Love, Love. She made everyone laugh, she always told jokes and she was the life of the party. She was caring, sharing, patient, happy, forgiving all of these in one! There will never be another Sweet loving Mary! Her oldest grandchildren fondly remember their friends calling her “Grandma”. She was like a Grandmother to all their friends.

Mary joins her deceased beloved mother Ruby Thompson and Father Ceasar Thompson, her deceased beloved husband Elwood Di Edwards, Beloved Sisters Grace Elliott, Cornelia, Lindsey Lois and one Beloved Brother John Thompson.

Mary leaves to mourn for her loss, her beloved sister Josephine Morgan, her beloved Daughter Euthema S. Edwards Williams, her Ex Son in law (Leroy Williams) Sr.;

Larry Frazer, her loving Companion. (Three Grandchildren) whom she loved Tanya Williams, Andrea Moye, LeRoy Williams Jr.; nine Great Grand Children Shavonie, Kyasia, LiaVone, Ryan, Raven, Curtis, Boy Boy, Deneesha, One Deceased Grandson LaShawn; five Great Great Grandchildren Kyden, Kylin, Liayla, Saraya, Zamir, and a host of nieces and nephews whom she loved oh so dearly!

For you were tired and now are taking your Rest. Sleep on Mother for we Know God loves you best.
