Linda Anderson born Linda Richardson, the beloved daughter of Wardell and Mamie Lee Richardson. Linda was born in Queens, NY on August 4, 1951. Later moved to Brooklyn, NY where she attended Tilden and Wingate H.S. Linda later received her GED in which she used to start her career in caregiving.
Linda is the 5th of 6 siblings. And is survived by her oldest brother Charles and younger sister Carolyn.
On April 30, 1970 Linda married (deceased) William Terry Anderson. On February 6,1977 Linda gave birth to her loving daughter Lakisha Gregg with (deceased) Luther Gene Gregg.
In 1991 Linda with her girls Kisha and Kema moved to Staten Island. Where her love and generosity was felt by everyone in the community, due to her being the neighborhood child caregiver and food service worker for most of the community centers on Staten Island.
On January 12, 2023, Linda was called home by her father. We are assured that she has found her peace and is no longer suffering as she journeys beyond this life.
Along with her siblings, to cherish her laughter, helping hand, advice and love Linda is survived by her daughters Lakisha and Nakema, granddaughter Shadiyah, 3 nieces: Sheila, Kim and Carol, two nephews: Russell and Reggie, great-nieces and nephews: Duke, Mishonia, Russell, Kaydon, Lanisha, Khazaria, Tashi, Jihad, Ikimbea and Ummil-khair. And not to mention her great great grand nieces and nephews, In-laws: James, Melasia, Gary, Yolanda, and Alisha. One great granddaughter Maleah and a host of friends that became family.
