Korean "Kubiak" Peake, entered eternal rest on December 2, 2024, at the age of 47. Born on June 27, 1977, Korean was a beloved son, sibling, and friend whose vibrant spirit and love for
life touched the hearts of many. Korean was preceded in death by his mother, Jacquelyn "Pat" Peake, and his grandmother,
Mary Browning, both of whom he cherished deeply. He leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories with his family and friends.
He is survived by his stepfather, Terry Converse, four sisters, Lashona Peake of Salisbury, NC, Saquana Burgess of Middletown, NY, Shamieka Peake of Staten Island, NY, and Louanamua
Lafaele of Australia, along with a brother, Terrence Peake of Staten Island, NY. Korean also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, and a great-niece, all of whom were dear to his heart.
Korean was known for his love of travel and his deep connection to his family. He found joy in long conversations with his siblings, sharing stories and laughter no matter the distance between them. His warmth, kindness, and sense of humor will be profoundly missed by all who knew him.
As we mourn his passing, we take comfort in knowing that Korean’s spirit will live on in the many lives he touched.
