in Staten Island, NY. He was the youngest of their four sons from their union. In his earlier years, Kahseem (Kas) was always a smiling kid and bubbly. Even when he was getting in trouble he would always be laughing and smiling.

He was educated in the public school system and attended Curtis High School. However, Kas went on to attend Job Corp; and he earned a diploma
Job Corp, Kas met the mother of his first child Stephanie Collier. Through this relationship Tequan Beatty was born.
Kahseem also took on the responsibility of taking care of Stephanie's daughter, Tanzania Motley, as his own. Later in life, Kahseem also fathered his youngest child, Rihanna Beatty, with April Kennedy.
Kahseem worked for many jobs, but was a mainstay at the NY Parks Department throughout many years. Kas is most known for his contagious laughter, silly joking nature, arguing sports banter and most importantly hanging with his closest friends.
