June Eva Mclaughlin, born on June 7, 1940, in Guanaja Bay Island, Honduras, passed away peacefully on December 10, 2024, in Valatie, New York, at the age of 84.
Her beloved father (Mr. Mack Gleason Mclaughlin) and her mother (Mrs. Geneive Mclaughlin)
She went on to achieve her education in the local English, and Spanish schools.
June’s life began amidst the serene beauty of Guanaja. Bay Island, where she spent her early years surrounded by vibrant culture and natural splendor of her homeland. Her journey eventually brought her to the United States, where she built a life filled with meaningful experiences and connections.
Mrs. June was married to Mr. (aka Don Marrero) who has proceeded her in death.
She enjoyed working with the elderly in the home health care system for much of her life.
While at the same time she was raising up her (3) grandchildren, and later on she spent some of her retirement years/time giving care, and raising-up (5) grandchildren
June is survived by her only son Valon Forbes, and his (4) children. Kendall Forbes Miller, Latoya Destra, Esperanza Forbes, and Valencia Forbes. Her daughter Rosedean Mclaughlin
Who has proceeded her in death has left behind (5) of her grandchildren. Amelia Mclaughlin, Gardenia Mclaughlin, Shawn Mclaughlin Raven Mclaughlin, and Danny Mclaughlin, (9) grandchildren, (14) greatgrandchildren. (2) brothers (4) sisters. Wendall Mclauglin, Ulean Mclaughlin, Arline McLean, and Edwina Watler. Augusta (aka Gus James) and Gloria Dixon, who has also proceeded her in death. Many nephews, and nieces.
Though her time with us has come to an end, June’s memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew her. May her legacy bring comfort and peace to all who mourn her passing.
