Jan Hinton-Rouse ,age 74, died of dementia on September 25th 2021, in Staten Island New York. 

Jan was Born on May 31,1947 in Newport News VA, to Parents Morris and Vivian Hinton. She graduated from Mckee High School in 1966.She then accepted a position as an aid in Richmond Health Center where she worked for more 26 years.Jan was a great family women and a loving mother. She married Franklin Rouse in 1989 and the couple had 5 children together. an was a social ,active women who was deeply involved with her church choir for majority of her life. She enjoyed cooking and puzzles. Her family will always remember her as a very caring loving and devoted mother. Jan is survived by her son Kevin Hinton, 5 grandchildren, sister in law Ann Hinton and her cousin David Dixon. She is proceeded in death by her Husband Franklin Rouse, brother Morris Hinton, sisters Vivian Dixon, Ollie McAllister and sons Derrick Hinton and Donald Hinton.
