Jamel Brock was born on August 20, 1970 to Alicia Brock.
She lived in the Stapleton and Parkhill areas of Staten Island where she also attended school.
She was a people person with a big heart who cared about others.
Jamel loved eating - not cooking! Some of her favorite family treats were Uncle Jimmy's home-made rolls which she enjoyed as a kid and her Cousin Tony's cheesecake, and Kit Kat's baked ziti. She also loved Betty's cooking.
She loved her children with every ounce of her being. Jamel was very proud of their accomplishments in school and in the workplace. She was strict about family togetherness and the importance of getting a good education.
Jamel loved God and going to church. She often referred to herself as being "a child of God."
She leaves to cherish her memory her children: Taquan, Javia, Taheeda, Jakeir, her grandchildren: Kaedyn, Ari, Jah'Mari, and baby Odin. , her aunts: Juneleara Dotts, Lisa Sears, and Hope Bell Dotts, a very large host of cousins and friends.
