Frazier Ann Washington, died on December 15th 2021 at Mount Sinai Hospital in Brooklyn New York. She was 75yrs old.

Frazier was born August 28th 1946 in Durham North Carolina to her parents Cecelia Mae Samuels- Coleman and Frederick Coleman 1st. She attended and graduated from Hillside high school in 1964. Around the same time Frazier married David “Chico” Rodriguez while giving birth to her two children. After high school she attended a Research Triangle training program in Raleigh North Carolina and earned a certificate as a lab technician. In the late 1960’s she along with her sister JonnAnn Coleman moved to NYC looking for a better life. They initially stayed with family members in Brooklyn. Frazier moved to Staten Island while working multiple jobs raising her children. As a single mother she landed a job with Chase Manhattan bank, where she worked for 10+ years. She eventually left Chase and for the next 20+ years worked as a Conductor for the MTA. In 1986 Frazier moved to Brooklyn and married again, this time to Robert Washington who passed away in 2005. He too worked for the MTA and received a military burial at Calverton National Cemetery having been a Bronze Star recipient in the Korean War. Frazier’s friends and family remember her warm spirit and her love of having good time, whether shooting the breeze, dancing to her favorite music, playing cards and/or vacationing with friends. As members of her immediate family we remember her as being very supportive and always willing to impart some good advice. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Frazier is survived by her great grandchildren Riley Harper Coleman, Jia Bartley, Jonathan Bartley. Grandchildren Kevin I Duff, Koy Y Bartley, Koree J Duff and Frederick Lamont Coleman 3rd. Her children Cecelia Duff and her son Frederick Lamont Coleman 2nd. Her nephew Christopher Coleman and his mother Jonna Coleman. Niece Stephanie Meyers, her son Sean and daughter Dana Meyers. Sisters Doris Ingram and Bettie Jean Joyner. And a whole host of family members.

Frazier has gone on to be reunited with her mother Cecelia Mae Samuels-Coleman, father Frederick Coleman 1st, sisters JonnAnn Coleman, Mageline Coleman, Anna Mae Crews and brother Randolph Crews.
