Florentino Vega Jr., a beloved father, grandfather, great grandfather, and esteemed member of the community, passed away on May 11, 2024, at the age of 63.

Florentino Vega Jr. was born on January 15, 1961, in Manhattan NY to parents Florentino Vega Sr. and Gladys Rivera.  In 1988 he moved to Perth Amboy NJ with his family where he worked as a moving & logistics expert for several years.  Florentino touched the lives of many in his profession through his kindness & compassion. 

Florentino will be deeply missed but his spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

Above all, Florentino leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter and cherished memories that will forever be treasured by his family and friends. 

Florentino is survived by his children, brothers, sister and extended family and a community that will be forever grateful for his presence. 

A celebration of Florentino’s life will be held on Saturday May 25th, 2024, from 1pm to 3pm at the Stradford Funeral Home, 1241 Castleton Ave, Staten Island NY 10310.
