Eugene was born in Manhattan, New York on April 17, 1948 to his mother Lois A. Brooks and his father George Mosley. He left this earth on January 31, 2021.

Eugene touched so many lives. He helped so many people get on the right track with their lives. He was co-founder and President of Next Level Men’s Group where he worked with children of all ages in disadvantaged neighborhoods. Eugene had lots of love and he shared it with many. People will remember Eugene by his big smile and quotes he used to repeat often.

Eugene left this earth a relatively happy man. He shared that happiness for 27 years with his wife Alfridia, who he adored. They met in 1990 at a dance they both attended. He had a smile and a mannerism that she could not resist. They got together in 1993 and were together until his passing.

Eugene is survived by his wife Alfridia Mosely who he loved very much and who shared with him her daughter, Miava and her grandchildren Zenaya, Jordan and Jaelin.Eugene is also survived by his daughter Regina Jones  and two grandchildren Joshua and Nehisi. Eugene had 6 brothers and 6 sisters. As most of his siblings have passed on, he is survived by 3 sisters, Lois Martin, Clara Ann Bennett and Calmelitha Brooks. His surviving brothers are Stanley Edwards and John Edwards. Eugene leaves behind a host of friends, nieces, nephews and cousins who will miss him immensely.
