It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Cynthia Cunningham, age 56, on September 8, 2024. Cynthia was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Bertha Cunningham, and her adopted mother, Betty Vinson. Cynthia was a devoted mother, loving grandmother, cherished sister, and a loyal friend to many. 

 Born on October 5, 1967, Cynthia touched the lives of many. She was a nurturing mother who always placed her family first, and she found immense joy in being a grandmother. Known for her vibrant personality, Cynthia loved to laugh, sing, and dance, bringing joy and light to all who knew her. 

 She is survived by her daughter Tenesha Baptiste, her grandchildren Seth, Kaiden, and Asher, her siblings John, Sarah, Betty, Ray, Randy, and Perry, and countless friends who will miss her dearly. A memorial service will be held on September 29, 2025, at Stradford Funeral Home on Staten Island at 1 p.m. to celebrate Cynthia’s life and the love she shared with those around her.
