Charles Floyd, age 69, died of health complications on September 17, 2023, in Queens NY.

Charles was born on September 19th in Staten Island NY to parents YOUNST FLOYD and KATHERINE FLOYD. He attended Port Richmond HS in Staten Island NY. He accepted a position as a Handyman where he worked for more than 30 years.

Charles was a great family man and a loving father. He married Bernadette MCclain in 1965 and the couple had 3 children together.

Charles was a social, active man who was deeply involved in assisting his family for the majority of his life. He enjoyed playing softball and watching cowboy movies.

His family and friends will always remember him as a trying man that was always willing to get the job done. Charles is survived by his 5 children named Dupree Floyd, Katherine Floyd, Bertha Floyd, Juanita Floyd, and Charles Floyd Jr. He is preceded in death by his parents Younst and Katherine Floyd, and his siblings Bertha, Allen, Mike, Richard, Patricia, Moses and Leroy.
