Charle was born on May 19th, 1951 in St. Vincent Hospital Staten Island, NY to Laurn and Cyril Dixon. Charles is the second oldest out of 5 brothers and sisters in his family. As a young man Charles grew up on Staten Island where he went to school. He graduated from P.S. 18 and McKee High School. Charles went on to work all different jobs.

He loved singing. He was a singer for the group named Moonlight. He was known as “Chuck Love”. He was predeceased by Russel Dixon and Cyril Dixon Jr, his sister Barbara Dixon and the late Marion Dixon.  He leaves to mourn; Two daughters, Shana (Cookie) Dixon, her two granddaughters Ivoryann and Ymahesty, daughter Jessica Dixon, her son Pharoah, three stepsons; Tyreek booker, Marcus Carr and Allen Booker, Stepdaughter Janaya Booker and the late Latoya booker. His 23 grandchildren and 2 nieces Cynthia Dixon and her 7 children , Saquan, Harry, Unique, Elijah, Jah’lili, Paris, Tremaine, Latiqua Dixon and her 4 children; Antonio Dixon and his 3 children. Charles is a great uncle of 5. Cheryl Booker a lifelong loving friend and a host of friends and family.

Charles will always be in our heart. We will always remember the jokes and the laughter. We are truly going to miss Charles.
