“Carnell “CB” Blake was born in Brooklyn, New York in 1963 before moving to Staten Island, New York with his family around 1970. Eventually, Carnell would move back to Brooklyn where he resided until his death on May 7th, 2024, at the age of 60. 

Carnell was born to Mary and Herman Lawrence and was the youngest of six children. He is survived by his two daughters Dayisha Anderson, and Carneiquea Blake. As well as his five siblings Harold Blake, Angel Dale-Britt, Debra Toney, Darrell Blake, and Shirley Mae Blake. Carnell is also survived by two grandchildren, 18 nieces and nephews, 21 great nieces and nephews, and 27 great-great nieces and nephews. 

Carnell was a great son, father, brother, uncle, and friend. Carnell loved his family and strived to keep everyone together by all means. He will be remembered for his kindness, generosity, and love for music.

To know Carnell “CB” Blake, is to love him. His personality is one of a kind and he is loved by many. Carnell was thoughtful, loving, and compassionate. He was always entertaining to be around and quick to tell one of his many life stories. He will be missed dearly. “
