Brian Keith Betts, 54, died on November 5, 2023, in Mt. Sinai Hospital in Manhattan, NY.

Brian was born on December 3, 1968, in St. Vincent’s Hospital in Staten Island, NY to parents Oran Ray Betts JR and Ethel Lee Betts. He attended McKee High School then later went on to Automotive school. In 1996 he began his journey with NYCT as a bus operator. He worked there for more than 27 years.

Brian was a great man, friend, and father. He lovingly cared for his 5 bonus children and a host of others.

Brian was an avid motorcycle lover and rider. He also was a music enthusiast and loved spending his free time DJing parties. He was known as DJ Photogenic. To his family he was called Bezoe and his closest friends referred to him as B-God. He will always be remembered with a smile on his handsome face. He was the life of the party and had the most genuine soul. His laughter was contagious.

Brian is survived by his parents, 2 sisters and 1 brother, many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his older sister Diana (Betts) Hardeman.

 All are welcome to attend the service. Repass information will be shared at a later time. The family would like to thank everyone for their condolences, compassion, memories, and love at this time of sorrow.
