Anthony Leander “Tony” Marcus
was born on April 5th 1961 in Brooklyn, NY to Mr. Early James Marcus Sr. and Anita Louise Marcus. At Brooklyn Jewish Hospital he attended P.S. 113, then private catholic school. Our lady of good counsel in Bedford Stuyvesant. He also attended New Bedford Stuyvesant JHS where he graduated, then attended Boys and Girls HS.
He moved to Manhattan to work with his grandfather and older brother, and in the family business painting. Tony was self employed and was a sought after carpenter. He enjoyed building things Bicycles as well.
Tony leaves behind his children and grandchildren: Debra McKoy, Ay’Lanah Cox, Loyal Cox, Dion Harvey, Nasir Harvey, Nyasia Harvey, Keisha McKoy, Maniya Mckoy, Keyshia Plair, Sieef Plair, Zymir Mckoy, Zyaire McKoy, Zyon McKoy, Kam’ron McKoy, Vanessa McKoy, Shamel McKoy, Isaiah McKoy, Dejour McKoy, DeSani McKoy, Brigette McKoy, Major Felder, Hezekiah Harris Jr, King Harris, He is also survived by his siblings Kevin Marcus, Kenny Marcus, Paul marcus, Omar Marcus and only sister Annette Marcus-Elliott and his Brother in law Howard Elliott. He is preceded in death by his love of over 40 years Debra McKoy, his stepson Michael McKoy, his mother Anita Marcus, his father Early James Marcus Sr., his brother Keith Marcus, Early James Marcus jr.,brother John Marcus, brother Brian Marcus, Brother Jermaine Marcus. He leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews and great nephews and great-nieces
