Angela Jennifer Cedeno, aka Andy, was born on February 17th, 1951 in Trinidad to McDonald and Daisy King. Angela was the oldest of three siblings, with 2 younger brothers, Wilfred King, who passed in 2021, and Kenrick King.
Angela was a woman who greatly loved her family. She was a loving sister and an amazing aunt. She loved her nieces and nephews very much and treated them as if they were her own children. Angela was a dedicated registered nurse for over 30 years in various locations in New York City and Las Vegas, Nevada, among others.
Angela enjoyed traveling the world, and visited many countries with her best friend Dyanne. She also loved taking family vacations to Orlando, Florida and Disney World, and spent a lot of time planning these yearly family vacations for her nieces and nephews. Angela left New York and moved to Vegas in 2008 and loved when her family came to visit. She moved back to Staten Island with her family in 2014 after retiring.
Angela loved to sing and enjoyed music by Aretha Franklin, Elvis, Anita Baker and Tina Turner. She also loved musicals. Angela was full of life, had a sweet voice and an unforgettable loud infectious laugh. She loved to have fun, tell stories and was a joy to be around.
Angela passed away on April 1st, 2023 in Staten Island at the age of 72. She is survived by her sister-in-law, Debra, her brother Kenrick, her nephews Tesfa and Ishmael, her nieces, Makeda, Sheba, Aisha, Natasha, Kariyma and Saleema, her great-nephews Dyland and Kristian, her great-nieces, Beverly, Nubia, Aliyah and Nala, and many cousins, other family members and dear friends. She was loved by so many and will be greatly missed.
