Obituary
Ana Hilda Robles was born to Juan Figueroa and Jesus Robles on February 1, 1942, on the beautiful island of Puerto Rico. Together, Anas parents had nine children; Ismael, Noberta, Gilberto, Margarita, Bienvenida, Merces, Elias and Maria.
At the age of 16 years old, Ana moved to El Barrio in New York City to live with her sister, Margarita, where she came ins search for a better future.
Ana worked as a seamstress, along with her sister Maria, as a factory worker, but most importantly she was a mother.
Ana had a total of five children: Oldest, Jose Vidot (Pepo), Angel Lopez (David), Daisy Lopez, Vivian Vargas, and Michelle Vargas (Chela). Aside from her children, Ana had eight grandchildren and eighteen Great-Grandchildren.
Ana’s personality was unique, along with a loving heart. She cared for everyone around her, but her greatest pride and joy was her family.
