Allen Fowle

Allen Nelson Fowle, was born on May 23, 1939, to the late Estell and Malcolm Fowle, at Harlem Hospital, in New York city. He departed in death on August 28, 2023, in Staten Island New York.

He attended Central High School of Needle Trades in New York, where he became proficient in Tailoring and Design. He joined the Marine Corp and was stationed at Camp Lejeune in North Carolina. Allen was also a Trailblazer, he was one of the very first Black American, to be employed by the United Postal Service. (UPS)

On October 4, 1958, at the Tried Stone Baptist Church in the Bronx, he married Sherry Steed.  With this Union, they had four children, Allen jr., Derek, Melanie, and David. Allen leaves to cherish his memory, His wife, children, 14 grandchildren, brothers Freddie, Malcolm, Richard, and Sister Tara, Daughter In-laws Samantha, Beverly and Carol. Brother in-law Harry Steed, and Sister In-law Nancy Steed, and a host of family and friends.

These are his loved ones who preceded him in death: Grandson Termell Fowle, Brother Reggie Fowle, brother in-law Jackie Steed, and Sister in-law Julia Steed. (Jay)
