Ain Richardson Obituary

Ain’s Life Journey

Ain Imani Richardson went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 15, 2020. She was born July 1, 1990 at Staten Island University Hospital in Staten Island, New York. Ain Imani, which means “Precious Faith”, was affectionately known as Precious. She had a unique style and a free spirit about her. She also had a sweet and tender spirit and a keen intuition.

Ain was a prolific writer, who was acknowledged with an award for poetry from Port Richmond High School. Ain received her High School Diploma in 2008. She attended the College of Staten Island where she studied international business. She was awarded a full scholarship to study abroad, and attended the University of Nanjing in China. Ain was fluid in Mandarin Chinese and had a deep appreciation for Chinese culture.

Ain relocated to El Paso, Texas in 2014. On January 26, 2016, Ain gave birth to a beautiful baby girl, Auryn Pema Herrera. Auryn was the apple of her eye.

Ain brought a light to anyone’s dark space. Her friend Victoria was quoted as saying that Ain “loved so deeply that it lives on through the wind, the rain, the earth. She is everywhere.” Which speaks to her limitless free spirit.

Ain was returned home to her family on Tuesday, August 25th, 2020.

Ain leaves behind her daughter Auryn Pema Herrara (Father Matthew), her mother - Arnita Richardson, father - Dow Kevin Buford, siblings - Avis Washington, Alexandria Buford, Nigel Whittle, Gilbert Skinner, Desiree Buford, Evelyn Cooke, Tyrell Cooke, aunt - Sandra Free and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
