This is the story of a wise man whom was loved, who is missed, and who will be cherished. Our “POPS” as he liked to be called by his children “Vince” as he was called by his nieces, nephews and siblings.
Vincent’s story begins on April 20th, 1958. Birthed from the surviving Nelli Clanton (NANI) in Brooklyn, New York; where he grew up, made life-long friends, went to school and was named SKENZ. Years down the line Vince moved to Staten Island, New York where he married the late Barbara Browning in which they had whirlwind romance and 3 children Carolyn, Valerie and Vincent. Vincent’s time in Staten Island was well spent he was the color of his community and the heart of his family.
Vincent had such a big spirit. He had such a big personality. When you saw Vincent all you seen was smiles, all you heard was laughter and all you received was GREAT ENERGY!
YOU WILL BE TRULY MISSED VINCENT, BUT YOU FOUGHT A GOOD FIGHT AND THOSE WHO BELIEVED, THOSE WHOM LOVE AND THOSE WHOM SERVE GOD WILL GO WITH HIM ! SURVIVING ARE HIS siblings Mary Clanton, Carolyn Clanton, Valerie Clanton, Anthony Clanton, James Clanton, children Carolyn, Valerie and Vincent and a host of nieces and nephews, family & friends.
