Linda Grace Linwood passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday morning October 25, 2017 at her family home in Staten Island, NY. Linda was the beloved daughter of Robert and Evelyn Chase born at Saint Vincent’s hospital on February 22, 1962. In her early childhood Linda enjoyed reading, swimming, playing outside with friends, and attending dancing school. She graduated from Curtis High School in Staten Island, NY.

In 1989 she married Goodwin Perry Linwood and within their union they had a daughter Tiara.  Linda attended Hunter college and received Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology.  

She later attended New York University and obtained her Master of Social Work and a Second Masters from New York Christian College in Spiritual Counseling. Linda was a regular attending member of Christian Cultural Center in Brooklyn, NY. She was a community advocate for the youth and those who suffer from mental illness. Linda enjoyed volunteering and for the last two years she worked as a Social Worker for the Department of Education.

Linda is predeceased by her father Robert C Chase Sr. and brother Ronald F Chase Sr. Linda is survived by her daughter Tiara Linwood, Granddaughter Tanai Coleman, Mother Evelyn Chase, brother Robert C Chase Jr., and Nephew Ronald F Chase Jr. and a host of family and friends.

Linda Linwood will truly be missed.
