Charles “Henry” Taylor, 71, passed away on June 13, 2018 in Richmond University Medical Center, Staten Island, New York. He was born on March 17, 1947 in Staten Island Hospital, Staten Island, New York to Edward Mason Sr. and Helen Taylor.
Henry graduated from Ralph R. Mckee High School and became a police officer in the early 70's. He later attended New York University College where he received his degree in radiologyand then later retired.
Henry was a hard-working man who enjoyed old school music, singing, and being around friends and family. He also loved watching basketball and baseball.
Henry is survived by his father Edward Mason Sr.; sisters Nancy Mayberry, Patricia Carter; brother Edward Mason Jr.; children Jeanine Taylor, Jennifer Taylor, Danielle Taylor, and Charles E. Taylor II; his grandchild Sydney A. Mills; nieces and nephews, James Taylor, Maureen Lundy, Helen Lundy-Billups, Wanda Armstrong, Charles Armstrong, Demar Mayberry and a host of other relatives and friends who he loved.
Henry will be missed by all of his family and friends. He is gone in flesh but will never be forgotten. His memory will always be cherished in our hearts.
