Anthony Michael Reed

Obituary to follow.Tony aka "Reed" was born on Oct 19, 1956 at Bronx Hospital. He lived with his parents and older brothers Steven and Roderick (Rick) in the Morrisania section in The Bronx until the age of 5 when the family relocated to Manhattanville in Harlem. Tony attended The Annunciation and PS 161 grammar schools, Junior High School 43 and then St Pius High School in Orange County New York. After high school he enlisted and served in the US Navy aboard the aircraft carrier Enterprise. Until illness forced him to stop working Tony ministered to many people as a Home Health Attendant. Tony was the living embodiment of a "people person." Everyone was drawn to his warm personality and passion for life.  His laughter created an instant party wherever he was.- 
 
Left to mourn is his wife Rosa Annette Reed, his son Anthony Reed 2nd, and his children Anthony M. Reed, 3rd, Italy T. Reed, A' Neiece D. Harris, his mother James A. Reed (deceased 2003). Christine M. Reed.  Shamar Reed and his children Elijah, Shamar, Shaneil, Joelle, and Xandra Reed.    Daughter: Tamessha Reed Gueye and her children, Ibrahim, Badara and Khadim  Gueye. 
 
Daughter: Tashana Reed and her children, Nylaa McCoy and Aaliyah McCombs.
