Our Dearly Beloved Elouise Mollett was born July 24, 1922 to the late Penny and David Sparks in Montgomery, Alabama. She was the baby girl of 7 children, all known as the late Lula Mae Witherspoon, Florence Holmes, Oliver Sparks, Willie Jones, Eddie Jones and Horace Jones. She graduated from high school receiving her high school diploma. In the late 1940’s her family migrated to New York and as they settled they sent for her. Shortly after her arrival she met and married the late Robert Mollett. Elouise had four children - the late Lulu Tyler, Dorothy Hatchett and David Mollett and is survived by Dean Mollett. She later moved to Staten Island to become closer to her family. She settled there for the rest of her years. She loved to cook, and play cards. She was committed to going to bingo on Thursday nights, which she was good at - always sharing her winnings. She was a housekeeper and baby sitter for the most part of her life, always taking care of others until she became disabled in 2010. She is survived by her grandchildren, Satara, Garvin, Lois, Malo, James, Charlene, Anton, Cory and Robert; great-grandchildren, Nyika, Shatel, Teon, Marquis, Alicia, Sade, Tiara, Arjune, Myasia, Tenise; great-great grandsons, Aiden and Hunter; her son’s in-law, Charlie Tyler and Wallace Jones; daughter’s in-law, Lizette Lopez and Karen Babbs and her grandson in-law Stanley along with a host of nieces and nephews.
Her laughter and Witt along with her feistiness remains with her family and friends. She will be deeply missed.
