Bobby Richardson was born to the late Barney and Mary Richardson on August 31, 1944, at John Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, MD.  On Thursday night, June 8, 2017 at Richmond University Hospital, God called one of his Angels home.

Bobby moved to New York City at the age of one, and was educated in Brooklyn, NY.   

He began his work career at Drake's Bakery in Brooklyn, New York, along with his family.   He later worked in the construction several years until he suffered a back injury.  Bobby also worked at Miller' s Pharmacy on Broad Street, in Staten Island, where he enjoyed and befriended many customers. After his retirement, he became a handy man in his community.    

In 1959, Bobby was baptized in Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Brooklyn NY. 

Bobby adored his family, especially his grandchildren and his sister Marjorie (Margie).   He loved to cook for his grandchildren.  He enjoyed spending time with family and had a joke for everyone. He was quiet soul with a big heart.  He also enjoyed listening to Jazz.

He leaves to mourn his only living sibling, Marjorie Garvin, four daughters, Stephanie Richardson, Vanessa Richardson, Kenya Gorham and Antoinette Cooper and one son Bobby Richardson Jr, his beloved grandchildren, Imani, Jaden, Josiah, Isaiah, Olivia, Sean, Kiana and Andes along with a host of nieces & nephews and several cousins and friends.
